Results: LC Trailblazers vs. Camdenton Lakers

Returning to the Camdenton Middle School brought mixed results for the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers.

The "B" Team has dropped several this year, followed by the "A" Team taking to the court and walking away with a win. Well tonight it was a reversal of fortunes as the "A" Team took to the court first loosing their game, followed by the "B" Team with a win.

The "A" Team taking to the court.

The tip.

Half-time warmup.

The coaches look on.

A practice shot to be duplicated in the game.

The Lakers hit a 3 just before half to close the gap. LCMS up 16-13 at the half.

Shooting like it was warm up.

Coach gives instruction hoping to put the Blazers back on top.

Funny how that works. The Laker coach got rather heated after the 1st of only 2 fouls that were called on his team in the second half.

The Blazers "A" Team takes the loss 35-28. Kobe was not on hand for the Lakers, but #10 filled in, scoring many of the Laker points. Many in attendance, at least those from Jefferson City, definitely saw the "Home Court Advantage". I believe many that made the trip questioned why the "A" team appeared to be outnumbered at times, 5 against 7. I am not sure how they were able to get away with it, but at times it appeared the Lakers were able to get two additional team members on the court. It was odd as they were not wearing numbers, nor the school colors, but some kind of black and white striped outfits. These players did not touch the ball much, but their participation did play a hand in the outcome of the game. Luckily their play did not affect the second game as much.

The "B" Team tipoff

The parent brigade was on hand for the matchup.

The message was probably keep doing what you are doing.

Hmm. Another Team that has Cheerleaders. At least they were not as loud as the Jeff Junior squad.

Coach liking the 1st half results.

In action.

Passing it inside.

Ouch! The lane violation was caught on digital. Frame 1.

Frame 2 - Ball at the top of its arc and looking to the right of the pic the right foot is in the lane.

Frame 3 - Foot pulled back, but to late. The made freethrow does not count. Fortunately it was not a game that it made a difference.

Laying it up.

The sign says it all. Teamwork - It Works! The "B" Team worked together to pull off the win over the Lakers 38-24.
