Just a quick reminder - Scrimmage

The Freshmen will try to muscle past the Sophomores this afternoon. They will be bussed over after getting dressed out. It is not known for sure if they will be on the main field (not as likely), the practice field next to the main field or the practice field across Stadium. The boys will return to Simonsen via bus after the scrimmage for some conditioning.

It is my understanding that a parents meeting will be held on the concrete bleachers at Keith Major field (Simonsen) following the scrimmage (I really don't have any details on this. I am not sure if it will take place while the boys are doing conditioning, if it will be after that, or if it will actually take place.)

Update: Just received the following e-mail from Grace.

Freshman parents! Today at 4pm the Freshman team is scrimmaging with the Sophomore team. The word is that it will be played on the practice field across the street from Adkins Stadium. There are no bleachers or seating, so be sure to bring along a chair if you wish. Just for future reference, and some may already know; but the nickname of the practice field right below the locker rooms is called “The Rock”. So if you hear someone say “they will play on “the rock” you’ll know which one that is! I’m sure any alumni football player can vouch for the name sake! See you tonight!

A slight chance you might even want to take an umbrella or rain coat.
