Scrimmage

It was the Sophomores versus

the Freshmen.

The Sophomores came out strong,

but the Freshmen did not forget to take some time to talk. Hey, last weekend I caught a fish this big.

What does a duck walk like?

The sideline was thinking to themselves. So that is what a duck walks like.

You just never know when you are going to go to a football game and have a soccer game breakout.

The Sophomore's do have another year of experience

and speed.

Which didn't help the Freshmen.

Some football hopefuls were also on hand.

Dude, what did I step in?

I know. I'll just wipe it off on the field.

Wait a minute...

..what is this **it...

..that I stepped in.

The coaches were in position..

..to see what the kids were doing..

..but don't expect them to jump in and do it for you..

..but they did give some friendly advice. Psst. Run past the other team with the ball.

Which when followed can lead to good results.
The Freshmen will need to run that play more often.
As it appeared to do the trick.

All joking aside some real football took place.

A small crowd was on hand.

And some obligatory matchmaking took place.

The girl in pink gave her review on the new cologne called "SWEAT" worn by all of the football players.

The Marching Band is much smaller than I remembered.

Some more football took place.

Did you see what Coach stepped in earlier?

Hey kid, you should pay attention to coach, not me, I'm for the other team.

The moms were on hand...

..until the end.

Now for a story. Once upon a time, there was a small Freshmen Football Team, much like all of you....

I think the boys are ready for some Tuesday Night Lights.
