Playoff Changes Next Year

The article, "Adding teams in 2008 will water down prep football playoffs", in the News Tribune gives some insight on the changes for next years playoffs.

There are some ideas that seem great and turn out to be dumb.

There are others that seem dumb immediately and turn out to be just that.

Then there are those that seem dumb right off the bat and turn out to be dumber than you ever could have imagined.

An example of the last kind is the football playoff system that goes into effect next year for Missouri high schools.
