Jays Win Season Opener

The Jays win their season opener against McCluer North by a score of 44-17.

“That was fun,” Jays coach Ted LePage said. “Any time you can have a special-teams touchdown and a defensive touchdown in the same game, that means your kids are paying attention and they’re doing a great job.


“The one thing I was disappointed in was the way we let up at times. We still don’t have the pedal to the metal on every play, and we need to do that all the time.”
