A Change of Pace

On this site you are use to seeing Jays Football or Track, although you saw a recent departure with the Helias Football State Semifinal Game. Well tonight the departure is even further. Here are a few shots from the Rolla Bulldogs (basketball) season opener against the St. Clair Bulldogs. Of course, you know the outcome going into it, the Bulldogs won. This was the debut of Rolla's first time varsity head coach, Mark Miller, a 1980 graduate of Rolla High School. It was a good outing as the Bulldogs of Rolla came out on top 75-48. A bit slow out of the gate, the Rolla Bulldogs got past being amped up and got into the groove of their game.

A good start to his head coaching career. Best of Luck Coach Miller.

(Okay, you may be asking why Rolla. A 1983 graduate myself and the fact that Coach Miller is also my step-brother kind of played into this one.)
