Everything goes the Jays' way
With a minute to play in the third quarter of Friday's Class 6 quarterfinal football game, the host Jefferson City Jays had the lead, but the visiting Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars thought they had the ball. And the momentum.
The officials ruled otherwise.
The officials "said (Jefferson City) recovered,'' West coach Paul Day said of the key call. "Our kids thought we had the ball, but of course, we're biased. It was a tough call, but that wasn't the difference tonight.

Good call Coach Day as that call was not the difference.
