Jays' fourth quarter rally falls short
The Blue Springs South Jaguars survived a late scare from the Jefferson City Jays and went on to advance to the Class 6 championship game with a 16-10 semifinal win Friday.

"Our kids played to the final whistle," Jefferson City Coach Ted LePage. "This was not the most talented team we’ve had a Jefferson City, but it was the most fun to coach. They overachieved big time."
"We made enough mistakes tonight on offense to hurt ourselves, but they created it," LePage said. "They’re a great defense, and we knew that coming in."
