Rockhurst outlasts Jeff City 20-13

Excerpts:

It took 47 minutes to finally seal the deal, but the Rockhurst Hawklets used a strong defensive performance and the backfield duo of Sal Belfonte and Noah Pearl made big plays at key moments to outlast the Jefferson City Jays at Adkins Stadium, 20-13.

“We found ways to beat our self in the second half, and we didn’t tackle very well,” LePage said, “we had the pitch that got away from us in when we were on a roll, it was just the little things, and our team has to learn from this. They don’t like this, I can tell by the way they’re acting, and we’ve got two weeks to correct it.”

A little action from Friday night.
