The Jays had been ahead of Fayetteville, Ark., by a score of 20-12 with 11:35 left in the game. The Bulldogs scored a touchdown with 10 seconds left, but the Fayetteville conversion pass was deflected in the end zone. Because the game was a non-conference, interstate contest, there would have been no overtime if the game had been tied at the end of regulation.
