Interesting. I previously posted that I wondered where the Jays would fall this week in MaxPreps rankings after being #2 last week, having beaten Fayetteville, and #7 Rockhurst beating #1 Blue Springs. Well this weeks rankings came out and the Jays are unchanged at #2, but #7 Rockhurst that beat #1 Blue Springs was moved to #1 and Blue Springs was dropped to #6.
Of course, the answer as to whether or not that is the right ranking order will be known soon enough as the Jays will face Rockhurst twice within the next month.
You might have noticed in the Tweets that the Jays did move to the #1 spot in the MoSports.com Power Poll this week and also jumped into rivalsHIGH 100 (from Yahoo! Sports) at #96 in the nation.
