From rivalsHIGH:
"Jefferson City completed an outstanding season in 2009 led by talented running back Kody Walker , advancing to the quarterfinal round and finishing with a 9-3 mark. The Jays continue to prove their football program is back after a few difficult years."
"In addition to Walker the Jays return enough firepower to help them advance to the Show-Me Bowl for the first time since 1998."
"The schedule will be solid once again for the Jays with a trip to Illinois, a pair of Suburban North foes in McCluer North and Hazelwood East, and the annual date with the Rockhurst Hawklets."
