Lady Jays JV third

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays JV team finished third in the Waynesville Varsity Relays on Friday.

West Plains won the title with 128 points, and the Lady Jays were third with 101.5.

Individually for the Lady Jays, Maegen Johnson won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.6.

On the boys side, Waynesville captured the crown with 182 points.

The Jays took fourth with 81.5 points.

Lady Jays, Jays dominate meet at Kirkwood

The Jefferson City Jays and Lady Jays captured team honors Saturday at the Kirkwood Relays.

The Jays captured one event - Zach Carey in the pole vault

Event winners for the Lady Jays included: Heather Green in the pole vault, Leslie Farmer in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, and the 4x800-meter relay team of Briana Watson, Emily Crawford, Elizabeth Collins and Torie Even.
