Next Friday Night our 11th ranked Varsity Jefferson City Jays Football team will host the Troy-Buchanan Trojans that also has a 4-2 record. This game has more weight as it is the first District Game for the Jays.

Jays Get Back to Fundamentals During Their Bye Week
“It's been an outstanding week of practice,” Jays coach Ted LePage said. “We put ones against ones a lot, so our practice tempo has picked up, because the No. 1 offense doesn't want to get beat by the No. 1 defense, and the No. 1 defense doesn't want to get beat by the No. 1 offense.
“That's one of the nice things about platooning, it's allowed us to have a much more up-tempo practice. It has been beneficial for us to see the speed on both sides of the ball.
