I am not sure if it is mandatory, but if the kids attend the varsity game they are to wear the jerseys then as well.
I have not heard if there will be practice on Saturday or not. I'll post as soon as I hear something.

No practice Friday - Varsity Football Game
The Freshmen Jays get the day off from practice tomorrow (Friday 9/9/05). Jerseys were passed out today that the kids can wear to school tomorrow to promote the Varsity game tomorrow night at Adkins Stadium against the Kansas City Central Blue Eagles. Game time is 7pm.
