Football: JV Jays rout Rock Bridge
Reece Roedel scored on touchdown runs of 5 and 37 yards for the winners, and also tossed a 15-yard scoring strike to Matt Lunsford.
Also for the Jays (4-1), who led 22-0 at the half, Brian Watkins scored on a 5-yard run, Jake Word returned a fumble 42 yards for a touchdown, Trent Kay hit paydirt from 32 yards and Devante Richardson scored on a 7-yard run.
Roedel kicked a 21-yard field goal and three point-afters for the Jays, who play at Hazelwood Central on Monday.
Levi Goodin caused two fumbles and recovered one for the Jays, Adam Briggs had a fumble recovery, Khiry Drain had an interception, and Word and Isaac LeBlanc both recorded sacks.
