Football: Jays frosh win
Devon Moore scored three touchdowns on runs of 14, 6 and 30 yards. Kyle Hopson and Xavier Alexander both had touchdown runs of 25 yards.
Connor Blair threw a 22-yard scoring strike to Daniel Ajuzie and a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Wieberg.
Nathan Beckman, Tavis Walker and Carter Stpehenson each had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for the Jefferson City defense.
Also for the Jays, Amir Demeisi had a sack and a fumble recovery, Clyde Snow and Lorenzo Green each had a fumble recovery and Cameron Roark and Chris White each had a sack.
Jared Johnson kicked five PATs for Jefferson City (2-0).
